Cycling in Italy - Day 6: Porto Badisco

19 / 07/ 2013

Friday is a perfect day for day trips (I just made that up).
So me and my friends Selene, Chiara and Alice decided to go from Giuggianello to Porto Badisco for some swimming. It's about 12 km of (almost) flat Salentinian land.

Porto Badisco
Porto Badisco is a minor gulf with a small sand beach in the center. Most of the visitors rest on the nearby rocks.

Selene and Chiara

Selene had the idea of renting some canoe's. Since I am a fearless explorer, I immediately jumped in to it.
Well not immediately-immediately, but immediately enough. I could say that the percentage of my immediateliness was at a satisfying level.

The way back took us twice as much to get there. Which is a normal thing, after the canoe experience.
And also because we stoped for a last beer, outside of Giuggianello (again, because of the canoe).
