Cycling in Italy - Day 9: From Giuggianello back to Lecce

Entering Palmariggi

Monday came and it was about time to leave Giuggianello and go back to Lecce. 

I had the greatest time ever. People make you feel like you're among your closest friends. 

I could stay there for the rest of my trip, but I had to go. 

After almost a week in this part of Salento, I was full of energy and started to miss the bike ride. 

At first I got lost in the olive tree fields for about an hour, then I arrived in Palmariggi and after to Bagnolo. 

The rest of the way was easy. 

Not because of the successfully placed road signs. 

Because I remembered the road from last week.

As expected, I came close to getting lost - again. But the unmistakable GPS inside my head saved my legs and lungs. I was in the right way to Lecce.
